Benchmade 42 Bali-Song butterfly knife. Benchmade 42 butterfly serrated edge. Bali-Song is the trade mark of Benchmade for their butterfly. An incredibly popular knife, unfortunately Benchmade does not make a lot of the model, as it is not the most popular knife of the Benchmade products. They make the 42S on and off and never in great quantity.
The Weehawk blade is a Jody Sampson design that stayed when he left Benchmade. The 42S is one of the most imitated and knocked off in the butterfly world with copies of copies being made in all the sweatshops off shore in the faraway lands of cheap butterflies.
The 42S is the original titanium-handled model and a hard act to follow. A unique patented feature is the spring loaded latch.
