Lone Wolf Diablo Double Action knife with black blade. Limited edition. Lone Wolf Knives believes double action knives are safer, friendlier, and more reliable than a single action knife. The double action feature allows the knife to be opened one-handed manually using the thumb stud, or automatically via a hidden trigger mechanism.
Single action knives rely solely on the button to activate the blade. If a malfunction occurred, or, the button were to get jammed with dirt, sand or even pocket lint, the blade may not be able to be opened until the knife is cleaned. Double-action Diablo’s blade can always be opened manually, even if the mechanism gets jammed up. Feedback has reported this subtle feature useful while in the field. This advantage of Diablo’s hidden release triger makes them easy to carry under all circumstances.
